For The Press
If ever there were a group of people who could tell the world the tyranny they live under, it would be you members of the press. I mean, we all know what I mean; Right? We all know there hasn’t been a free press in this country since the passage of the Aliens and Sedition Act, in 1798. If you don’t know that, I’m sure you all can sense it.
I’m really getting tired of the so-called “right-wing”, “conservatives” saying that they, “cannot stand the liberal media.” What are they talking about? A liberal media would insinuate that there are a lot of yahoos out there, blowing the lid on governmental corruption; telling stories of peaceful ways. But that could be furthest from the truth. You love war. The government is full of people who lie to your face while you report, yet say nothing about the lie just told. You allow them to bullshit the American people, while you sit there in awe of whomever you are interviewing. Take Donald Trump. That candidacy is your wet dream cum true. I watch him, every day when there is no mass shootings or terrorist plots going on. I watch him as he lies to your face and you are all too scared to call him out on it. It just like when you were all too scared to call George W. out on the 911 incident or hold him to the fire when he allowed the crime scene to be destroyed right after it happened; Iraq. Yeah, you guys are so liberal. What the hell, does “liberal media” even mean? You won’t get inside a tank and report what a great war we’re having?
You’re all rotten. During the Occupy Wall Street movement you were all told to forget about it and you did, without complaint. Your bosses really kept it out of the news and you all saw that. So what did you all do? Did you walk out in protest of this “censorship” or just kiss, lick and wipe your bosses’ asses to keep that new car and 30 year note on your condo with 26 years of monthly payments still left on it? What, you think I don’t know? After you guys got arrested during the movement’s “eviction”, the use of force by the “government”, we didn’t see you or any stories about occupy again. It was back to business as usual for you, whereas those of us not frightened away went underground and started, or helped start, many new movements seen today. If you guys were really liberal you would have followed that and not the matters of no importance.
No one watches the news or reads the newspaper today. In fact, most Americans are devoid of any news other than having to do with school and mass shootings, terrorism, or Donald Trump. And of the three, they still know very little about them, yet think they are exports at all of them. Of the three network news stations, NBC, ABC and CBS, only about 21 million people watch. And of the cable talk news shows, the viewership is under three or four million, half of which watch FOX. No one cares. No one either has time to care, or has been so programmed into becoming America’s wet dream that they just trade off the caring for a life of bliss. So the reality is, there is less than 1/13 of all Americans who watch the national news networks. These are the people who are repeating your crap to the truly ignorant and slaves of capitalism. I could just imagine how those stories get repeated.
I watch a lot of news and can see the inconsistencies between them. I usually have on one or two-cable news shows during the day and I try to watch at least two of the national broadcasts each night. Been doing it since high school. I also watch alternative news like RT, Al Jazeera, and Democracy now. So I know what’s going on. Well, I know what they will tell me, the rest I research and figure out on my own.
Network news hasn’t changed at all over the past four decades. It is still as boring and brainwashing as it was in the 1950’s when it all began. Cable news, on the other hand, has transformed the way we get our news today. Although the viewership of these channels are very small, I am sure they mushroom over the periods of reports about school shootings, terrorist crises or war reporting. All they do for days on end whenever they get one of those stories is run it on a 24/7 real that is even live. It then becomes a “no news day” for the next 4 to 7 days. Nothing about what is happening around the country and the world. Instead, you give us something that is “so scary we want to scare the shit out of you so we will show only this story for the next week.” Seriously, I do not watch any “mainstream” media during that week because there is no need to, nothing gets told except the scary story of the week and that could be summed up in a few minutes. I call them “no news weeks”. It is then that I turn to watching movies and to getting any current news from the Internet or twitter.
You reporters…you have no idea of what it means to be a real investigative journalist. You get told the “facts” buy corrupt governmental officials and you don’t do the fact checking; especially with 911 or weapons of mass distraction. I don’t think there is any of you who today would pull a Woodward and Bernstein. Hell, I am quite sure Bob Woodward wouldn’t do it again today. I think he likes his life of bliss. Now I’ve seen a few good reporters who quit rather then give into editorial butchering. Some have sued. They are not only real reporters, they are real people. People who would rather quit then sell out their morals, unlike the most of you scared corporate children.
You know you cannot tell the truth about the government or even the presidential candidates; well, the ones you like at least. Case in point, Donald Trump, my old boss. He sits there, 5 feet from your face and lies to it. And you people don’t call him out on it. Why is that? Oh, yeah, he might not ever give you another interview again. And that scares who, you or your boss? I can see it bothering your bosses, they are just corporate shills doing the bidding of the corporate and governmental interests. They thrive on this fool’s popularity. Maybe they even like his politics, so they don’t want you to press him too hard or they will fire you and there goes bliss. So you keep your mouth shut when he says that he saw thousands and thousands of people cheering in New Jersey after the WTC fell. Sure, you told him the facts, but you allowed him to walk away believing in what he just said and knowing he just got away with it with you. Now, educated people, and I will assume that most of you all have a college education, know the truth of that day. Even Ben Carson came out and admitted he made a mistake because he remembered what he actually saw was from Palestine. As was Trump’s memory. But Trump can’t say he was mistaken, he doesn’t make mistakes. So now he has to double down on the lie because his followers have already come out falsely backing up this false allegation. And rather then showing your viewers how full of shit this man is by telling Mr. Trump, right there and then, before he has the chance to smile and walk away, that he is a LIAR and you will never interview him again, you don’t, because you’re star struck like an adolescent. Either that or you know you will lose your job if you did and you’re just too weak to do what Jesus would do. And you are even that star struck way with the politicians as well. You treat them just like movie stars.
Cable news networks are not news shows at all. They are more like “current events happening live now”. Police chases, celebrity trials, shit like that. If you look at all the shows on the cable news circuit, you will notice that probably about 90% of those hosts, are millennials. Problem with that is, they were born after and trained long after Vietnam and the Watergate Hotel break-ins. And I believe that they are dumbing you down on purpose. It’s funny to watch you guys interview Bob Woodward. It’s like, the conversation is going on, but the only thing in your mind is the thought that you are interviewing ancient history. Any history, which happens before you are born, becomes ancient history to that person. To me, Vietnam and Watergate are still influencing my current outlook on reality. To a millennial, it’s like, “what’s that?” And because of all this, investigative journalism doesn’t exist. The same actors from then are still involved in today’s government, yet this group refuses to connect the dots to see what they are really after. Either that or you are told to just let it drop. Cowards.
Now, the baby boomers and generation Xers, give a better interview. Not that they do any different than those mentioned above with getting the bullshit out of people and threatening them with no more interviews if they don’t tell the truth, it’s just their knowledge of history that seems a little better. Plus, they’re more grown up. That is why most of them are millionaires today. That and they keep their mouths shut.
You owe it to your impressionable viewers. The television is today’s number one brainwashing tool used, even more so then the news media or public schools. Most children today spend more time watching television then they do learning in school. So when you have on a political pundit, or governmental official, or candidate, or a talking head, you have to hold them to the truth, because your viewers are so impressionable that they will believe the bullshit if you don’t tell them it was. Get it? Then you seem so surprised when you find out that most of Americans today agree with Donald Trump in outlawing Muslims. And the reason we find ourselves here is because of lie after lie told by Mr. Trump and never corrected by you. You just bring him back for another interview and another chance to “trump” up the fears of the American baby and to spread lies to get him elected. So don’t you look so surprised that most of America is now willing to throw away the constitution because of their own illogical, irrational and “trumped” up fear. This is all due to those who would read “The Prince” and take up with the “rule with fear” method of governing a group of people. They could rule with love and get the same results, but they are all such haters, so… Trump is banking on the assumption that there are more people who are so ignorant and live in fear of everything in this country so much so that they are willing to elect a person who is willing to throw away the constitution in lieu of their fears. Are you finally catching on that that American people are ignorant about current affairs, history and ancient history so much so that they believe the “trumped” (I love the pun) up lies and live in fear because of them? I had an Iranian professor in 1983 for managerial statistics and in ’84 for the culture of Islam; same guy. It is a systematic, deliberate and intentional Dumbing Down of America, like in the video to the left.
So now you read this website and we are at a point where this is now becoming the most popular movement in America. What will you do? Will you even mention it on your shows, or keep it buried and out of sight? A movement wanting to put an end to capitalism and arrest and try the current politicians and other governmental servants? How will you view everything on this site? Would you invite me to come on your shows? Do you think I would even do it?
You guys are all bad. FOXNEWS is the worst. I could take on and debate any of their pundits, but I wouldn’t. They are just too ignorant and brainwashed by the devil. First off, they are all millionaires, so you know how I view them right off the bat. Then second, they never give a guest the chance to speak. They constantly interrupt them and dominate the conversation so the ideas of the guests never get out. I could never go on a program with someone without any respect like they show.
The other cable shows? Not that good either. You all are just too scared to speak the truth about what you are reporting on. And by the truth I mean give your opinion. This reporting the news as a neutral observer is fine and all, but I think people would like to know how it is you really see it. As long as you can tell the viewer the truth and admit when you have a “theory” and it’s just a theory and not the reality on the ground, then that’s fine. What is wrong with you having an interview with Donald Trump, being insulted by his lies, telling him you will no longer interview him and asking him leave for good…even if he becomes president? Think you guys could do that? I’d like to see it.
There are two, only two, reporters out there that I feel do a righteous job. One is Christopher Hedges, and you all should know who he is, he goes without saying. The other is Glen Greenwald, of The Intercept. Only problem with Glen is, he’s a lair…I mean a lawyer, and you all know how I feel about lawyers. Glen, however, could be the lawyer we are looking for (he was for Ed Snowden who will have a secretary position in my cabinet along with Glen if he plays nice). Perhaps he will be the first to sign the defection form, leave the A.B.A., introduce this site to the world and take to fighting the revolution. I see it like this; I believe Glen would do just that, however, his membership in the capitalistic club, the American Bar Association, gives me pause as to whether or not he will be willing to join the New World, or hold on to the capitalistic society? I’m not a betting man, but if I were I’d say Glen, will do the right thing. If he doesn’t, we’re all lost. You should all watch the video to the left, he tells it like it with today’s press. Start it around the 20 minute mark.
I’d like all you guys to sign the defectors database as soon as I can produce it. I don’t expect any of you to really defect, since we need reporters in the field, but I do expect you to show your intelligence before staying on the job. You will begin to report on revolutionary trials going on in your area. So the lawyer gets paired with the arrested, and you follow the case from arrest to acquittal. You will know when the arrest will take place, because it will be preplanned.
I feel the reason why Trump’s, and many others’, supporters out there like him, and like him especially more when you attack him or the other’s candidate, is because they really don’t trust republicrats. You have been lying to us for so long now and covering up the corruption as a department of the oligarchy, that to tell us the truth now would be like the boy who cried wolf. I don’t trust anyone once they’ve lied to me. So you’ve got a long way to go to gain the trust of the people again…especially my trust. Now go do the right thing.
Update: Below I looked up some videos to help you understand what your profession is. I saw them last night for the first time. It’s the same thing I’ve been saying.
The American Ruling Class is one of the most unusual films to be made in America in recent years -- both in terms of form and content. The form is a "dramatic-documentary-musical" and the content is our country's most taboo topic: class, power and privilege in our nominally democratic republic.
At bottom the film is a morality tale, the story of two Yale students (played by Harvard men) who seek their opportunities upon graduation. As the renowned essayist, author and longtime Harper's magazine editor Lewis Lapham conducts them through the corridors of power: Pentagon press briefings, the World Economic Forum, philanthropic foundations, Washington law firms, corporations, banks, the Council on Foreign Relations, and New York society dinners--our two representative graduates "one rich and the other not so rich" must struggle with their responsibilities in "a world collaterally damaged by the magic of money and the miracles of science." The real-life luminaries they meet on their journey become characters in a story about power, its responsibilities and abuses.
All the while "the Mighty Wurlitzer" plays on, a reference to the massive propaganda apparatus invented by the CIA's Frank Wisner, here used to signify the nocturnal philosophy of acquisition and imperial hubris which continually calls to the young men, the siren song of careerist myopia that was bred into their bones at school.
As we watch these two young men wend their way through what is only a slight fictionalization of their actual lives and choices, as we meet former Secretaries of State and Defense, directors of the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations, the publisher of The New York Times, Kurt Vonnegut, Howard Zinn, Barbara Ehrenreich, Robert Altman and a host of others, we have to ask along with Mr. Lapham: "To what end the genius of the Wall Street banks and the force of the Pentagon's colossal weapons? Where does America discover the wisdom to play with its wonderful toys?" The possible answers move beyond the empty distinction of party affiliation and into the heart of American Oligarchy itself. By film's end, the young men must decide: Should they seek to rule the world, or to save it?
